Relationship building is at the crux of effective home visiting services, yet the context of relationships within the family’s home environment can be challenging. This session will look at an overview of ethical issues in human services and the complexities of maintaining appropriate boundaries. Do you accept a cup of coffee, use the family bathroom, or accept an offered snack? These questions will be addressed as well as the concept of dual relationships, self-disclosure, and maintain relationships when program services end
