Stress is common in the workplace, but often goes unaddressed. How do we help individuals who struggle to meet the demands of a fast-paced work environment due to extreme stress in their life? How can we implement best practices that allow all workers to succeed, and increase a company's bottom line? This session will cover ACEs and how trauma impacts employee performance, workplace culture, and company costs, the work that Prevent Child Abuse Iowa is currently doing to modify the Connections Matter curriculum for the business sector, and ideas and action steps for creating more resilient, trauma-sensitive workspaces
