2018 Annual Family Support and Child Abuse Prevention Conference

This course is designed to help professionals working in school environments create successful trauma-informed education practices. Participants will gain understanding that trauma and toxic stress impact the brains and bodies of children. Participants willbe able to better recognize risk factors associated with adverse childhood experience, develop skills to mitigate the impact of trauma on classroom behavior and learning, and gain classroom strategies when working with students.
